We are currently seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to scale up and EU projects, focusing on ASPEN modelling, separation and hydrogenation. 

What will you do?

As a Process Engineer specializing in hydrogenation and process scaling, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling chemical processes, particularly those involving hydrogenation. Your expertise in ASPEN modelling will be crucial in simulating and improving process efficiency. 

  • Compliance with company regulations and procedures in the areas of quality, health, safety, environment, order and cleanliness.
  • Develop and optimize hydrogenation processes to ensure high efficiency and product quality.
  • Scale up laboratory processes to pilot and industrial scales, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Utilize ASPEN software to model and simulate chemical processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

  • MSc/BSc degree in Chemical; Mechanical; Electronic Engineering, or a relevant Engineering education, or at least 3 years of experience in a relevant industrial or research organization.
  • Proven experience in hydrogenation processes and process scaling.
  • Proficiency in ASPEN modeling is essential.
  • ASPEN Modeling: Experience using ASPEN software to model and simulate chemical processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a solid understanding of chemical engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with other process simulation tools like PRO/II is a plus.
