What’s the role about?

Reporting to the Motor Claims Manager, this role is responsible for management of the portfolio of insurance claims, managing all claims and negotiations across the Motor portfolio. In addition, this role will see you:

  • Answer customer enquiries around coverage, lodging a claim, and information required to support a claim

  • Report and escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures.

  • Deliver general technical assistance and advice in regards applications to insurance law

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce/mitigate claims costs

About you

  • At least one year claims experience in the insurance industry

  • Sound knowledge of claims processes, experience with motor or motorcycle insurance products is highly desired

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High level interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet timeframes

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Confident negotiator
