Key responsibilities of your role

 

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

 

  • Lead the development and execution of the organization's information security governance and compliance strategy.
  • Maintain and enhance information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with business and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate security and compliance objectives into business initiatives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, NIS 2, GDPR,).
  • Manage internal and external security audits, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
  • Track and report on key compliance metrics and KPIs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security policies and standards.
  • Maintain Ahold Delhaize CS policy framework, ensuring ongoing accuracy and applicability.

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in information security governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar.
  • Experience managing audits and compliance initiatives (internal, external, or regulatory).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, or ITIL (or a desire to pursue them).
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or high-volume customer-facing environments.
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust).
