Key Takeaways

  • 75% of U.S. employers use automated applicant tracking systems to screen resumes before a human reviews them (Harvard Business School & Accenture, 2021)
  • The most common ATS failures are missing keywords, incompatible formatting, and incorrect file types
  • ResumeGeni scores your resume across 8 parsing layers — modeled on the same steps enterprise ATS platforms like Workday, Greenhouse, and Taleo use to evaluate candidates

How ATS Resume Scoring Works

Applicant tracking systems parse your resume into structured data — extracting your name, contact info, work history, skills, and education — then score how well that data matches the job requirements. Many ATS rejections happen because the parser couldn't extract critical fields, not because the candidate wasn't qualified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ResumeGeni free?
Yes. ResumeGeni is currently in beta — ATS analysis, scoring, and initial improvement suggestions are free with no signup required. Full guidance and saved reports may require a free account.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, RTF, ODT, and Apple Pages. PDF and DOCX are recommended for best ATS compatibility.
How is the ATS score calculated?
Your resume is processed through an 8-layer parsing pipeline that extracts structured data the same way enterprise ATS platforms do. The score reflects how completely and accurately your resume can be parsed, plus how well your content matches common ATS ranking criteria.
Can ATS read PDF resumes?
Yes, but not all PDFs are equal. Text-based PDFs parse well. Image-only PDFs (scanned documents) and PDFs with complex tables or multi-column layouts often fail ATS parsing. Our analyzer will flag these issues.
How do I improve my ATS score?
Focus on three areas: use a clean single-column format, include keywords from the job description naturally in your experience bullets, and ensure all sections (contact, experience, education, skills) use standard headings.

We are looking for experienced Account Executives for accounts within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Poland, with a focus on our Adobe Experience Cloud (DX) business. The role is ideally based in Warsaw.

As an Enterprise Account Executive (FSI), you’ll be seen as a trusted business advisor with deep knowledge of the financial services sector with its particular challenges, compliance requirements, and digital transformation priorities in the Polish market. Your role is to drive revenue by winning new FSI customers and growing our footprint with large install-base accounts by crafting compelling value propositions that align with their strategic business goals such as customer trust, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. To thrive in Adobe's dynamic and complex environment, you'll need to be curious, adaptable, and highly collaborative.

What you’ll Do

  • Be a strategic partner to our existing FSI customers — helping them realize value from existing Adobe investments while discovering opportunities to expand into new Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Leverage this expertise and experience to win new FSI customers by successfully positioning our value proposition against competition
  • Align closely with cross-functional teams across pre- and post-sales.
  • Lead the overall engagement with your clients — manage C-level relationships (especially with CMOs, CXOs, and Heads of Digital), support a clear value framework, and orchestrate collaboration across their business and ours.
  • Drive net-new revenue generation through consultative sales strategies tailored to the financial sector.
  • Collaborate effectively with Adobe Partners to deliver business outcomes.
  • Develop and share FSI-specific customer success stories, value metrics, and guidelines.
  • Partner with Marketing to drive targeted go-to-market and PR activities for the financial services audience.
  • Demonstrate strong value-based selling aligned with measurable business results (e.g., improved customer acquisition, retention, and engagement).

What you need to succeed

  • Deep Enterprise Software sales experience, ideally in complex platform/multi-solution selling within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and achieving market share growth.
  • Demonstrated success selling to executives, VP and/or C-level leaders – preferably CMOs, CDOs, CIOs, or Heads of Customer Experience.
  • Strong network and experience in acquiring and developing key customer relationships within banking, insurance, or fintech.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – constantly identifying new opportunities and developing business cases that deliver mutual success.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
  • High level of efficiency and collaboration in a fast-paced, matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Fluency in Polish and English is required.
