About the Role
Overview:
We’re looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Controller to own and scale our core accounting and financial operations. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, while playing a key role in supporting strategic financial decision-making.
You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, optimize cash flow, and build scalable systems as the company grows. This is a hands-on, high-impact position ideal for someone who is sharp, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance: Preparation and ownership of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements
- Collections: Assist in collections efforts to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Reporting & Analysis: Create financial reports and analyze data to support company growth.
- Spending Controls: Designing and maintaining internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
- Experience managing bookkeeping and owning financial statements end-to-end
- Proven ability to manage collections and communicate effectively with clients
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and projections
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical, sharp, and resourceful problem-solver
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
