Assistant Manager / Sr Analyst (Business Development)

The individual will work with the Urban/Sustainable Cities Business DevelopmentTeam based at the Headquarters (New Delhi). This role involves supportingthe team in day-to-day business development operations and assisting projectand technical teams in research, bid preparation, and submission forExpressions of Interest (EOIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and track business development opportunities within the allocated sector.
- Support day-to-day business development activities, including providing inputs for the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and Technical Proposals.
- Conduct background research and analysis to strengthen and enhance technical proposals.
- Assist in assembling teams of consultants required for consultancy assignments and support the formatting and compilation of their CVs and credentials.
- Develop and maintain networks and partnerships with consultancy firms, institutions, and sector experts.
- Undertake various business developmentrelated tasks as required by the team.
- Support technical writing for proposals, concept notes, and related documents.
- Compile and maintain business development statistics, databases, and internal trackers.
- Manage and coordinatebid submissions on e-procurement portals, ensuring compliance with submissionrequirements and timelines.
Qualifications
Masters degree inenvironment field/ planning/ engineering or relevant.
Experience Requirements
2-5 years experience in Business Development, proposal preparation, response to RFP EOI, e-procurement in a consulting firm.

Essential Skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities with excellent writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with strong presentation and formatting capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience or familiarity with proposal preparation, bid coordination, and business development processes.
- Understanding of e-procurement portals and online bid submission processes is desirable.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms that support research, proposal development, data analysis, and productivity.
- Experiencein data tracking, BD analytics, or maintaining opportunity pipelines andtrackers.
